The components and parts listed here come from the original (first generation) Nissan Leaf battery packs. The same elements from the second generation battery pack (2013-15) have some slight design changes and no separators are needed as the modules can be easily flipped (no "top" side). There is no extra charge for parts from the original car battery block.

The parts below are for illustration purposes and: 

• -       some are used to prepare the battery blocks sold on this site,
• -       can be requested and used to prepare custom blocks for your specific project.

Bolts/Nuts

One set comes with each battery module (included in the price).

Separators

Used between the inner modules of the battery blocks (first generation Leaf modules only). 

Threaded Rods

Used to tighten and attach to the base a stack of modules. Available sizes (by modules in each stack): for 2, 4, custom made for 3 or more is possible to special ordered.

Compression brackets

Depending on the desired configuration of the project modules - horizontal/vertical, number of stacks, etc. we can suggest a base + top bracket set or utilizing the lighter (top) bracket on both sides.

·         "24 block" start and end brackets - weight 12lbs 9oz

 

 

Here are the parameters of some of the possible configurations:

·         Single base + top - weight 3lbs 5oz

·         Single top (used for base) + single top - weight 2lbs 11oz

·    Double base (for 4 stacks of modules) + double top - weight 7lbs 6oz

·         2 Double bases + 2 double tops - weight 15lbs

 Harness/Connectors/Covers sets

The standard sizes are for 2, 4, 8 and 24 modules.

 

 

Custom cuts from the standard ones can be made - for example for a stack of 6 modules (on top of each other).
